Well, I must be off.  Theater Artists Olympia is supposed to have our monthly board meeting tonight, but not enough people can be there, so we're just going to have a "Reservoir Dogs" post-mortem.  I still haven't gotten the last check(s) from the website that sold our on-line tickets...our board president gets those.  Hopefully, he'll have them tonight.  That'll increase our bottom line. :)

Until later!

Watching "Babes in Arms," the last of the Mickey and Judy movies I have. And I'm glad. The scripts are truly bad and a little Mickey goes a long, long way.

Tomorrow I can buy my ticket for the concert tour of Ghost Brothers of Darkland Country.  I think it's really cool that it's coming to Sioux City.  It won't be here until November but I'll get the ticket now, anyway.  I'm not thrilled with our Broadway season at the Orpheum, but this is cool.    I decided to get a Symphony season ticket and a Broadway series ticket.  I'm not planning to travel much, if at all, so these are shows I should be able to get to!

Um, page four?  Um, four pages?  This will NOT do and I wonder why I'm updating anything with this board if we can't get four pages in by 8:00 my time.

Just read that it was going on tour today. I'd like to see it. Sounds like fun.

Tomorrow I'm getting up at dawn's crack to drive a straight shot to Cincinnati, around ten hours driving time, and for the next few days I'll be checking in mostly in the evenings.  Whee.  What fun.  At least the return trip will be split into two days (Sat./Sun.).  Boy, do I know how to live, or what?  But this will be good, as I'll get to see a few of the more interesting members of the family.

Taking THE BRAIN and UNE CHAMBRE EN VILLE to listen to in the car.  A few other shows, too.

I walked 20 minutes to hitch a ride to my book group this morning & then had a nice 20 minute walk home.  I dawdled talking after the meeting with the hostess & then with the woman who picked me up.

I have had a nice day today.

Now don't dawdle, Amaryllis.

Are you going to be in Cincinnati for more than a day? Will you see DR Ginny?

Looks like they had nicer costumes than when I was in SHOWBOAT playing Frank....here are Frank & Ellie in THAT particular production....I think we are singing our big Act Two number: Goodbye, My Lady Love.....and I accompanied myself on the tambourine.

You look very handsome here.

Oh, I thought he was the one on the left.

Nice photo, JRand, whether you are the one on the left, as TCB says, or the right.

I am still looking for my leading man.

Five words of advice: stop looking at Forest Lawn.

Is that where Liberace is buried?

Unfortunately, I can't do that on this trip, it's way too tight.  I'll make it over there again later in the summer and will hope to plan meet-ups with both DR Ginny and DR JRand62.

White Castle, yes, if I can work it in.  But I can get that here in the NY/NJ region.

I have often wondered how the frozen White Castle burgers taste.  I liked the real thing in Jersey.

Originally Perkins Pancake House, now just Perkins, and sadly, they've been closing a few of their locations.

The frozen White Castles can satisfy a late night craving, but you have to develop the perfect technique for both heating them and 'dressing' them.  I haven't had them in a long time.

But before I do...
