Hi everyone.

So, Miss Saigon closed and was the highest box office gross-er in a LONG time.  Sold out houses, standing O's, just a great show.  Everyone was happy.

Moving commences next week with the big items on Saturday of Memorial day weekend.

Congrats, Matthew and Company!!

I just got out of a phone discussion about the possibility of my being a guest lecturer on musical theatre next year for a college term. I'm very interested, whether or not the foundation I'm working with folds. I could still edit music and teach a term.

Sounds great, DR elmore!

Thank you! After my panic earlier in the week about a possibly failing foundation leading to my unemployment, I decided I'd better start looking out for myself.

Speaking of Lady M, I discovered today that she's now on Facebook. So far, she hasn't asked me to friend her.

Well, I never said she was stupid.

Did a three-mile jog, came home and sent more music to singers (all is done now save for one song, and, of course sending the stuff to whoever our new guy is), then had some pasta papa, and then went to the mail place, where I was rather shocked to find that the books had been delivered the day after they were sent!  So, we'll ship out tomorrow - although the computer we use for shipping has been having problems and is at the store getting cleaned or whatever they do to it - but even if we have to address them by hand, we will get them out tomorrow.

They look nice.

Did that sound bitter? I am not bitter. But he is still a jerk.  8)

You should be bitter and have every right to still be bitter.  Isn't the song Bitter and be Gay?

I should really begin reading a book I checked out yesterday except I am almost sure the one I want to read first will become available today.  It seems as if I have been next up for it for 3 weeks now.  I wish I had kept track of the date I moved to the front of the queue.  Normally I wouldn't care but they are both long books.

Forgot to mention that my darling neighbors (yes, the Annette daughter) are doing more work and so had every parking spot taken in front of their house AND mine.  I went ballistic because I had six heavy boxes of books to carry in - I screamed at the workers and told them to move their damn cars elsewhere.  They nodded and did nothing, so I got louder - and the head guy looked at me and said, "I can't right now, I'm busy."  That was it.  I parked in the red in front of their house, and then went to the front door and banged until their housekeeper (yes, now they have a housekeeper - I'm sure mommy left them some money - how nice for them) opened and told me Annette's daughter wasn't in.  I let forth with a loud stream of invective that I was not standing for this parking crap anymore.  She said she'd tell her.  Meanwhile, the idiot head worker saw I was at their door and he beat it over to his SUV and left.  As he was starting his motor I yelled to him that I'd best not see his car in front of my house again.  These little selfish mofos are going to rue the day if they keep this up.

If Lady Macbeth sends me a Friend request, i simply won't accept her, but I think she already knows that and I won't get one. Her joining Facebook is a relatively new thing. I was surprised to find it today.

I was thinking that you won't want her to be able to see your posts through mutual family friends.

Bruce when they are parked in front of your house, is that blocking the driveway so you can't pull up to unload the car?  I seem to remember you have an actual driveway though you don't park in a garage.
