One of yesterday's page dances reminded me of the story told around MGM of the costumer who worked on that particular routine.  They were having trouble with Ms Charisse's being dressed in all white and the material being too sheer.....after filming the dance a couple of times to shocking results.....the costumer announced to the producer:

Well we did it....we finally licked Cyd's crotch.

I must still stay off my feet. Thankfully, I have a good book and DVDs to keep me amused. I actually started celebrating about ten days ago and have a couple things planned for later in the month.

TOD:

I recently watched the MISS FISHER MURDER MYSTERIES. I loved them. The Australian actress Essie Davis is perfection as Miss Fisher.

LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN

I saw this film when it first came out.  I was four years old.  The scene where Gene Tierney lets Darryl Hickman drown gave me nightmares.

We watched a terrific movie last night: IF I WERE YOU with Marcia Gay Harden.

Very witty script.
