Some days, I feel the need to remove myself from earthbound travails:

I finally saw BRAVE last night.

Thought the animation was sensational (not surprising for Pixar).

I was really enjoying the film, then about halfway through, the plot takes a left turn and I felt I was watching an entirely different movie.  Indeed, it turned me off of the film completely.

Anybody else see the movie?

That would never happen if you had been watching ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN, DR DRUXY.

Hi BK,
I will definitely write a review on Amazon!

Also I may be starting a Book Club with my friends.  I'll recommend it.

DR Kate, because you said you like Renoir's Luncheon of the Boating Party, you might like Susan Vreeland's novel of the same title.  Susan is one of my book group's favorite authors.  We've been together more than 20 years - here's our website:

Well, I fasted for nothing because our primary cary physician was satisfied with the fasting blood test I'd had for my cardiologist a few months ago.  Anyway, Richard and I both had uneventful check-ups and a delightful Bob Evans breakfast.  We also took our upstairs curtains to the dry cleaners, where I had to sign a waiver in case they do not survive the process.

Yeah, DR JRand.  When the clerk asked me how old the drapes are I said, "Older than my son!"  She was not amused.

Bob Evans!

I haven't had anything except the biscuits and gravy for so long there that I don't even remember what the rest of their breakfasts are like.

But I'm sure it's all good.

I'm still waiting on a dinner order from Bob Evans from 1989....I hope they realized I left the table sometime in 1991.

Someone at Bob Evans is probably posting somewhere that they're still waiting for that guy to finally come back in and pay his check.

Back from a three-mile jog.  Download completed and I configured and did the set-up and have no idea if I did it correctly or not - I did try calling them about six times but kept getting Thailand or somewhere and I refused to talk to them.  They're supposed to call me at eleven to finish up the case so I'll just wait till then and if I did something wrong they can just damn well fix it.  There was actually just one confusing step, but I think I clicked the right thing.  Printer's working fine anyway - haven't tried to scan.

I don't understand all these problems that MR BK is having.  I have never encountered printer/computer problems.  I have had No Name Printers, HP Printers, and now a Canon Printer/Scanner and all of my PC's recognized them right away.

Is it an APPLE dilemma?

And the word of the day is: MORDACIOUS!

And The Song Of The Day Is:  BUT ALIVE

I thought so:  I had this tribute to online sites like HHW,  from a while back - and mentions the Song of the Day.  I wonder what this was for?

BUT ONLINE! -  Tune of BUT ALIVE!

We sound wealthy yet poor as a pauper
Part Cindy Williams and part Cyndi Lauper
But online, that’s OK, we’re online!

Rachel Portman with some Rachel Berry
Take K.D. Lang and add in Katy Perry
But online, but online, we’re online!

We’ve got songs that blend the genres, hip-hop to Roberta Flack
Though young kids see Justin Bieber, and learn from Rebecca Black

We sound spontaneous yet lousy with planning
Take Channing Tatum and add Carol Channing
Rash as Gavin Creel   / Staged like Howard Keel
Anyway we’re real – Online!

I’m a dozen different screennames, each and every viewpoint’s mine
I’ve a million ways of saying “Merman’s Gypsy can’t match Tyne”

Our site’s part subsidized projects, part Tara
Part Paul McCartney and part Paul Jabara
But online! That’s OK! We’re online!
We sound content and still filled with self-loathing
Totally naked yet covered with clothing
But online!  That’s the thing! We’re online!

This kaleidoscope of hopefuls whirls around the world wide net
Time for a new Stephen Sondheim? Maybe next year but not yet

So they’re for fun but we still hope to sell ‘em
So mix Lady Gaga with some Antebellum
Cute like Danny Kaye /  Rough like south Park’s Trey
What’s the Song of the Day – Online!

That's great, Fred!!

I did.  I'm still not certain how I felt (or feel) about it.

I am quite certain I don't feel it merited an Oscar.

The bear, however, was absolutely wonderful in its reactions.

I think part of the problem is it wasn't really configured properly when I first got it.  But I also think that because I had all these old drivers and HP things from three previous printers, that those were causing problems.  Everything is now completely up to date, scanning thing is in my dock and working perfectly, printer is working perfectly, and best of all I'm now configured for ePrint - which is AMAZING!  I can forward an e-mail to the printer and it will print.  I can forward a photo from my iPhone or iPad and it will print.  I am HAPPENING!

Tuesday morning greetings!  I'm having to start my day with no coffee because Richard and I both have fasting blood tests this morning.  After our doctor's appointments we're going out for breakfast.

Ah yes, those f***ing blood tests.

Hmm. I wonder what TCB is trying to say there.

Those fulfilling blood tests?

Those fascinating blood tests?
