Oops, sorry Bruce. Hope that one didn't bother you. I know it's the FA Theme Song. It's the one I heard first when listening to Donald and I love it (along with the Unsung Irving Berlin). I forgot about Pick Yourself Up.

Back from a satisfying, if hot, morning at the movies. The A/C at the Lafayette apparently doesn't handle heat waves well in that cavernous auditorium, and gave up the ghost yesterday -- so they're waiting on a couple of parts. But it was bearable. For the audience. The projection booth was a sauna for poor Peter, but he gave it his all, as always, and gave us a fine show. THE STRANGER was fantastic. It's been maybe ten years or more since I'd seen it. What a great movie.

RIP Jean Stapleton...

She lived in the same building as our friends Doug and Jon. Doug's late mother was having difficulty with one of the machines in the laundry room and JS helped her out. Flo delighted in telling everyone, "Edith Bunker helped me with my laundry!"

I just got Rob Berman's second half of Act One full score notes. The person on the copy team who blew up at me last October, for all of his "I know it all" attitude, really did a mediocre job proofreading, as well as checking lyrics and making sure the melodies were correctly entered. I am not happy about the work.

My library is funny. They posted on their facebook page today that if you liked that post and came to the library this weekend you could a free travel mug (with the logo of where I live). So I show up at the library and the woman behind the desk says "oh I saw you liked our post here is your mug".

Hi all! I was very lazy today. I'm fighting some kind of sinus/flu thing. Missed a couple of days from work the week before last, went to the doctor, got meds for it and thought it was gone. Now it feels like a round 2 is trying to start. I've just been tired so I rested most of the day.

Been watching "Falling Skys" all day. I've seen it before but I know the new season is about to start and it has been awhile--just wanted to refresh some of the details.

we notice that the second row center orchestra was nearly completely empty - we relocated during interemission - as did 5 others so the second half we were 2nd row center
