The other night we watched a movie we got at the Redbox we disliked so much I said even the Reacher movie would have been better.  Guess what Keith got from the Redbox today.  At least it is in Blue-ray ;)

Actually, JACK REACHER is better than I thought.

I just read on the news about a trend in Japan that MAY be perplexing...MAY, not IS
"A strange trend among Japanese school-aged children and teens -- licking a friend or lover's eyeballs -- may be perplexing, but experts are more worried about the germs they are potentially spreading.

It started in a rock and roll video.

I think the only Esther Williams & Van Heflin flick I know (and had, but it seems to be gone now) is THRILL OF A ROMANCE.

(With Lauritz Melchior!)

I have no memory of Van Heflin in any Esther Williams, especially not THRILL OF A ROMANCE.

Good catch.  Now, if I'd been, you know, "thinking", I might have typed Johnson instead of Heflin.

Oy!  Can't fix my formatting problem there, either, from this phone.  Anyway, it's Van Johnson.

Back from a fun show at The Gardenia.  The owner isn't so happy with me, I think - guess I can't blame him, but being there I wondered how we EVER did our shows there.  We outgrew it, that's one of the main reasons we had to move - we regularly get eighty to 100 people at The Federal - we could barely fit fifty-five into the Gardenia.  Plus the sound and lighting there is not good.

And now I suppose I shall have to write some notes, but I won't be able to schedule them to make sure that's working because the show was so long I just got home.  But tomorrow night I'll write early, schedule, and hope for the best.
