Saturday morning greetings!  Richard is in beautiful Oxford, OH, this morning rehearsing with the Miami University Men's Glee Club alumni for tonight's concert.  They're performing in a tent on Slant Walk and it may be too hot for me to attend...

Do you have trouble with the heat aside from not liking it?

Well, I've never particularly liked it, but my tolerance for extremes of both heat and cold has diminished a lot since my heart attack.  Maybe it's all in my head, but hot, humid days remind me too much of August 3, 2010...

About an hour ago Richard received word that the whole alumni fest has been moved into the ice arena.  The weather radar shows massive thunderstorms heading right for us.  I think I'll stay home.

Well, it looks like we're in for a week of it, starting tomorrow.  I came "this close" to turning the A/C on today, but tomorrow for sure.

I suppose I'll do a jog soon.  It's very pretty outside and the singing bird seems to have come back to me.  How many here remember the singing bird?

In the cinnamon tree?

I get it.  But I wonder how many other people here did.

These are other James Colburn and Charles Bronson I enjoy but I would't call it one of their films.

Jane, getting a great night's sleep makes all the difference in the world.
Hoping you get 8 hours tonight..I have insomnia, so I rarely get as much sleep as I would like.
Jet lag doesn't help, and I just got back to California from the East Coast....exhausting.

Probably a combination.  Either way you are smart to avoid getting overheated when possible.

Hello Everyone:

TOD:  James Colburn, The Last of Sheila

          Charles Bronson, The Sandpiper.

I not really that familiar with either of them.

I did enjoy both movies.
