NOTES IN THE KEY OF Bb
« on: July 17, 2013, 12:12:05 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in the key of Bb with a key change into BK, and now it is time for you to post until the flat cows come home.

That's a very nice picture, BK.

Walking home yesterday was very nice but a bit muggy.  It was warm, even after the sun started going down.  I'll need to get up early so that I can walk to work before it gets too warm.  Then this afternoon I'll get my car back and my wonderful air conditioning. ;D

DR Laura - so glad that you finally got a little fall of rain!

Of course, I add to the ~ ~ ~ VIBES ~ ~ ~ wished for DR Danise.

Thanks to DR John G. for sharing that priceless clip of Yoko Ono. A shame she didn't spring for a backing track of real musicians, instead of those awful synthesizers - it would have added so much.   ;)

Re that Yoko mash-up with Chorus Line:  :)

Odd that some of the YouTube comments seem to be taking it as if Yoko had actually done that to "Music and the Mirror."  Or am i reading that wrong?

Here's the original, which is weird and fascinating.  Note that MoMa didn't allow YouTube-user comments on it, but it got well over a million views

Yoko - the fascinating original

Good morning, all! I am up extra early this morning because I have to see my doctor at 8:30; there's a bruise or something on my foot that I want her to look at and tell me is nothing.

Then, I have errands and other things to do today but I mostly want to avoid the heat.

There's trouble in Neverland:

Yoko sounds to me more like a contralto than a soprano. But whatever.      :)

Back in London and it was so hot last night that I think I only got about 2 hours sleep. This is one of the longest spells of very hot weather - 90F at day, 74F at night - that we've had for years. No sign of it ending either.

I'm glad Laura got some rain, too.  I only got about 10 drops (I exaggerate-- we got EIGHT drops) in this part of town.  But the sunset with all the storm clouds was truly staggering.

It's been very, very, very hot here. I'm glad I work indoors or I would be a statistic on the news.

And to work.  8)   Air conditioning ? Only if I'm brave enough to turn it on.  Boss does not like it.

Listened to Thelma & Louise again last night.  :)

I think Yoko is a mezzanine soprano.
