DR Singdaw,

Thanks so much for the beautiful Anniversay Card.

Also, I love the Song "Who Knows Where The Time Goes" sung by Judy Collins.

In fact We saw her about 8 years ago and She signed my minature guitar.

I fell back asleep around five-thirty, I guess, and slept until Barry Pearl called at ten-thirty - so I guess I got around seven hours of sleep somehow.  Exhausted, but I'm sure I'll doze off at some point.  It is already 77 in the house so I'd imagine it must be in the 90s outside.

At Artsplash I found these cats.  The Calico was basically like this, the middle cat was brown and darker brown striped and the one on the right was gray and white.   The artist offered to custom paint the gray one to look like Boo, so I bought them.   She painted it but it was so humid out that it didn't dry. She put them in a sack and the paint ran all over.   So she told me what paint to buy so I could touch them up and finish them.   Here is the end result.....Callie Ricky and Boo

I'm thinking about adding some white dots for whiskers on Boo.  She does have white whiskers, it may define her face better

As I painted Boo's, she posed.  When I moved on to Ricky, she jumped down and walked away.  It was really funny

Just got great news about our next Kritzerland show - The Story Goes On: The Songs of Maltby and Shire - Sally Mayes is coming in to do it - this has taken four weeks to make happen but I'm thrilled - she, of course, was one of the original stars of the Maltby and Shire revue, Closer than Ever.

DR Cillaliz - those critters are adorable!

Also, thank you for reminding me that I definitely need to accomplish some loads of laundry today.

I am having a big bowl of fresh Missouri peaches (not to be confused with the Colorado or California peaches) with vanilla bean ice cream.   They were cheaper than the Colorado or California peaches but still taste very yummy

DR Singdaw thanks and glad to remind you about laundry.  I like that chore because most of the time I can sit and relax and do other things... like eating ice cream with fresh peaches

Happy Labor Day, all!

I made it to the day off after tech hell, and other dramas.

BK, Congrats on the success of your Anniversary show!! It killed me not to be able to be there, and I am thrilled to hear that everyone rocked both shows.

TOD:  I'd like to lay around like a stalk of brocoli (or so many fish?), but I have some food to buy, laundry to do, and a week of previews to prep for. We open Saturday night.

I hope everyone will have a wondrous day!  :)

Boy, this has steadily turned into the crappiest day ever.  Good thing all I needed The Great Outdoors for was to throw a few things on the grill.  It's also a good thing I can just pull the grill underneath the overhang and let it rain.  I wonder if it's going to break any of this humidity.  Nah, probably not.
