DR Kate - I am sure that DR George would be more than happy to crop the photo of you to create an HHW avatar that you could use here.

Excellent idea :)

DR KevinH - thanks for the assist. I think it is lovely that your family was able to gather together to have this milestone celebration.

Thank you, DR singdaw!

Bummer.  We could probably use some rain but I am very happy to have a clear day.

Hello Everyone:

Well today is our 30th Wedding Anniversary.  I am married to the greatest guy!

I received a beautiful silver necklace and bracelet.

We just returned from The Original Pancake House.

Later we will go out to dinner to celebrate!

Congrats

Just got great news about our next Kritzerland show - The Story Goes On: The Songs of Maltby and Shire - Sally Mayes is coming in to do it - this has taken four weeks to make happen but I'm thrilled - she, of course, was one of the original stars of the Maltby and Shire revue, Closer than Ever.

Fantastic!  Miss Byrd!

What is the difference between a joint and a jernt?   Is a joint classier?      ;D

I don't think jernt is on my publisher's acceptable words spelling list.

Hello, everyone.

Congrats to BK and company! I'm especially pleased that the matinee was well attended. It sounds like you have a market there. I hope you'll be able to do other matinees, as well. Any plans for that?

I had this really weird dream.... Somehow I was working for Dick van Dyke. He was calling Mary Tyler Moore, who was on vacation in Hawaii, but he didn't want to be alone with her on the phone. So he asked me to get on the phone, too. (In the dream it made sense because we were all going to be working together on something). She wasn't initially too warm to my joining them, but I made small talk about Hawaii and kept things moving along. Bizarre!

I am intrigued by a quote ad in yesterday's New York Times Book Review. The ad is for a new novel entitled "Alex," by Pierre LeMaitre. One of the quotes reads: ...Makes Lizbeth Salander look like Mary Poppins.     >:(

REALLY??!! Wow.
