ask bk

Is the And The World Goes Round going to be a studio recording or a live recording of the concert?

and

How goes the search for the ladies for the show?

Studio recording.  Offers are out to two women, both of whom were suggestions by Mr. Kander - frankly I'm not sure either will do it, but we'll see.

Another ASK BK

Do you prefer "Ketchup" or "Catsup"?

Ketchup, now and forever, like Cats.

I went into the admin panel and spell check is enabled - I've never seen it - there is a note saying it doesn't work in all browsers.

And today in 1925, 88 years ago, DEAREST ENEMY opened at the Knickerbocker Theatre and remains young.

I'm ready to begin the laundry. This could be painful.  We'll see.

You need to hire a personal assistant, DR Elmore.

I really do! I stayed down at the laundromat while the clothes washed. They're now in the dryer for the next hour. What is killing me is navigating the stairs up to the front door and the stairs up to the lobby.  I cannot put pressure on my left foot and, whenI do, the pain is unbearable.  I worry about navigating the steps with a cane and a bundle of dry laundry. Goddam it.

The problem is, if DR elmore3003 advertises for a P.A., he might get something totally unexpected.       :)

My great grandparents lived in an suburb of Detroit where it was fashionable to have servants.

My mother always said that she wanted another house with a "magical" laundry chute; where you dropped your dirty clothes down the chute, and soon thereafter they arrived back in your room: laundered and pressed!         :)

I assume the P.A. to which Sing is referring is a "Prince Albert". That's a term for a certain piercing which is beyond unpleasant, in my humble opinion.

Happy Wandering Wednesday to all...

Okay, it's wandering day to me, as I wander back to La Jolla for the penultimate week of shows. Turns out we are not extending, which is a mixed blessing. One less week of filling in the holes of a Swiss cheese script, but at the same time one less paycheck.

The most important thing - I got my confirmation call from Mr. Sterling that I am confirmed for the new Kritzerland show on Oct. 7th! Can't wait!

Have a wonderful Hump Day!

This photo could be me at the present time!

I am back from the laundromat. It was easier than I thought, but I am wiped out now.

It's a round of self-mutilation I do not comprehend at all!  Thanks for clarifying. Ugh.

DR JANE I am thinking a mattress topper is the foam thing that I put on top of my mattress.  I was told it increases the life of said mattress...although it does also make it more comfortable.

I guess MR BK should stop looking in windows and go into the store and ask the man what he is seeing....then we will know for sure!

I guess it increases the life of the mattress by making it more comfortable so you don't have to buy a new one yet ;)

This morning Keith had a colonoscopy.  Two hours later he is already working in the garden.  I would be napping.

For the first time nothing needed a biopsy :D :)

Our house had a cool laundry chute from the upstairs bathroom.  It was so much fun Craig actually put his clothes in the "hamper" for the first time.  To my relief Bryan wouldn't let Craig ride down the chute with his clothes.  At that age one would expect the older brother to shove the kid down not tell him no ;)
