George I thought the bowl was blue until you mentioned the boa was in it-lol

There are all sorts of things you can do with it.  You can put pretty colored stones in the bottom and float flowers in it.  You can use it to serve food or you can fill it with your favorite key chains.

Several co-workers said that I should bring it to work and fill it with candy.  I was actually going to do that, but I forgot to get candy last night when I was at Costco...and then I forgot to bring the bowl to work today, anyway. ::)

:D

Of course they said to fill it with candy for them to enjoy ;D

The helicopters flew over us again.  I'm sure we have never seen copters flying in a line like this, or so many at once.

I came across this link:  Phenomenal Footage Of A Dancer Battling With Light.  The video after the animated .gifs is really cool!

Back from a fun dinner at The Smoke House with the Darling Daughter.  She had the yummilicious pulled pork sandwich and I had a cup of clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail, along with three smallish pieces of the garlic cheese bread, so well within my calorie count.  She had creme brűlée for dessert and I had strawberries.

Got invited to the opening of a new Ruth's Chris tonight. Fun. Great food. But I wouldn't pay those prices.

Boy I feel stupid.  I totally missed the humor in the title of yesterday's notes.  Very funny, BK!

Many years ago, I had the pleasure of sitting next to and chatting with Ray Bradbury.  It was at some dinner sponsored by a Sherlock Holmes group.  I was there to talk about Basil Rathbone, but I don't recall what Bradbury's connection to the group was.

I'm so jealous!

I love Ray Bradbury. Somewhere I have a huge anthology of his stories.  If I could dig it out, I'd read some of them again today. I do know where the DVD of MOBY DICK is, though, and its his screenplay , and I've never seen the film of SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES . . .

Are you sure that MOBY DICK isn't one of your videos?

I would only buy it if they would promise that the DVD is blank.

Not to be too personal around here, but I did have the best date ever last night.  It's nice beginning an ADULT relationship with an ADULT without judgement or drama.

That is great to hear, Matthew.

Happy to say that Christiane Noll will be joining our And the World Goes Round recording cast.  Couldn't be happier that the timing worked.  She was the first person I thought of for the Karen Mason track and her voice will be perfect for it.

And RYacko will be coming back to Kritzerland for our holiday show.

Great news all the way around.

Kuzya, the Russian librarian cat.

Awww and I love the bow tie.

Sometimes I tend to forget that the Russians have a sense of humor.  But I blame that on Putin.

Today I went for my yearly physical.  I was expecting a battle over the two additional surgeries.  I went in, laid out all my reasons for not having them, and his only response was, "Okay."

Of course the fact that he was a half hour away from leaving on his two week fishing trip helped a great deal.

Then my doctor suggested that we schedule me for another colonoscopy.  I said, "Are you nuts?  How do you expect me to drink that junk and then run to the bathroom?"

Glad to read on Playbill.com that "Meet John Doe" is getting a studio recording. I love the old Gary Cooper-Jean Arthur movie and wonder what the musical is like.

Well with Robert Cuccioli it has my vote.

I thought he was very good in JECKYLL AND HYDE, but then so did he.

Finished with my viewing - no time for a complete film so I watched the making of Fahrenheit from back in 2002.
