BK, my question of the day is:

Do you have any plans at the moment to release more vintage B movie soundtracks?

And, for BK and anyone else, if you could release any of your favorite B movie soundtracks, what would those be (just assume any score released would be available and profitable)?

For me, BK has already released my most wanted which was ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE (even though it was not the entire thing, what was there was fantastic!)

Others that I would enjoy would be a lot of the music from 1940s/50s Universal B films...horror, drama, and sci fi.

I have a ton of Albert Glasser sitting here - we'll do something at some point.

Thomas Gibson is on THE TALK this afternoon. Weird bird; I never liked him personally.

He lives here in San Antonio, at least part of the time. He's married to the cousin of a friend of mine. She's quite nice. I've never met him. Wonder what she thinks of the video.

And last night, I went through my garage again looking for a couple of videos and DVDs and I found my DVD of A Tale of Cinderella!

When that was transferred from VHS to DVD, someone - maybe George or Will, the composers - remixed the sound, and I dn'tthnk it's as good as the video sound.

I used to see him at Drama Book Shop while he was going to Juilliard; he always seemed to be one of those people who operated on the policy: I'm cute and if I bat my eyes and flirt, I can get anything I want. He was Orsino in a Central Park TWELFTH NIGHT with my friend Peter MacNicol - where is he these days? - and I walked out of Central Parkbehif him and a group of his friends and he was loudly badmouthing a fellow cast member. I thought that was really poor behavior.

How do you know Peter MacNicol??? I don't know where he is now (he was on Numbers, the television show) but I went to the University of Minnesota with him. I know he would never remember me but he was there during my freshman year and then he graduated. He was Peter Johnson then and he lived in Middlebrook Hall and did "Elevator Theatre" where he would stage a diorama that would last from the time the elevator door opened until it closed.

I met him when I was working at Classic Books on 6th and 48th. I haven't seen him since he went to LA for "Ally McBeal." a series I loathed.

Wow! That production of "Twelfth Night" was summer, 1986! BK recorded one of Rupert Holmes'  songs from that production.

I haven't cared for him since I heard an actor, talking about his guest-starring stint on an episode of "Dharma & Gregg", claim that there was an unbearable "diva" on the show...and it wasn't Jenna Elfman.

Did a three-mile jog, sent dealers the new release announcement so they can get me their numbers, and did a three-mile jog.

Wife Sandy is undergoing another back surgery tomorrow morning; this time to implant a wire in her spine and a battery pack under her skin.  Hopefully, with the use of a remote device, this will reduce her constant back pain.

Vibes and prayers are appreciated.

A sad loss for fans of spaghetti westerns and Italian sword and sandal films.

Actor Giuliano Gemma (aka: Montgomery Wood) died in a car accident today near Rome, Italy.

DR TCB, as you mentioned we have been here while you have dealt with these issues and, IMHO, of course you should have shared your feelings with us.  I think you have been as brave as possible throughout and sometimes we all need to express our disappointments, and this one is big.

As always, sending good vibes and hugs.

I disagree with BK. I think that removing bread, rice and pasta from your diet (huge carbs) will allow a person to lose weight much more easily.  Obviously if you eat junk food and tons of desserts instead it might not help.  But in my experience less carbs = a much easier time losing weight.  I also think that eating healthier foods (lots of fruits and vegetables) is a big factor as well.

You can choose BK's route and do a certain amount of calories for sure. But much easier the above way (not that it is easy to cut out those foods - it's hard).

I did the carbs diet - it's called the Atkins Diet - and while I did lose the initial weight more quickly, I felt terrible and ultimately realized that one had to live their entire life using that diet because if one didn't, the weight came back so quickly it wasn't even funny.  So, not for me.

I think the Atkins Diet is horrible.  Reducing breads and eating more fruits and vegetables not only an excellent diet but a good way to change one's eating habits even after the weight is lost.

DR TCB, you have every right to feel down, have a few moments of self-pity, or whatever...health problems ARE a downer, especially chronic ones!!

Regardless of whether your health issue(s) feel like they will never get better, or even if you know that they will in time get better...there are times that a person just feels helpless, sad, bitter, angry, or just plain uncomfortable and/or in pain.

You know we are all here with you and for you! Many hugs and vibes to you!

Well said, Mikey!  DR TCB, my friend has said this more eloquently than I might have, so I'll just say Ditto!

Ditto to both comments.

I agree that the Atkins Diet is too difficult to stay on.

I think BK's counting calories is working great for him.

Yes, but it's the only diet that really works for diabetics.

Had a fun rehearsal with John Sloman, then had a quick sandwich with the helper and dinner is at six, but I won't be that hungry now, which was kind of my plan.  I'll probably just have one taco and be done with it.
