I started reading Sycamore Row last night.  I'm enjoying it so far

Oh good, and one year my library will have it available for me. :)

For the new DRs, I do like to remind that DR Elmore and I really do love each other very much.  :-*

Had a book signing at lunch today and we sold 19 copies. Quite amazing, if you ask me for a book that's more than a year old. But the people were wonderful.

I'm always impressed at your book sales. Do you think San Antonio is a particularly good area for it?

Or because the food photo on the cover is so very yummy looking.

Sneaking in from 30,000 feet to say hello, and to wish everyone a good evening.  Gotta love having the interwebs in the air.  :)

I had a lovely time in Philly, but I am wedding'd and family'd out. I need a week long nap when I get home.

I hope everyone's had a great week. I look forward to catching up with all the goings-on about here again.

Yep, flyin' home at last.... and boy, are my arms tired....  c'mon, I had to.   :D

I love Philly.

I'm sorry that I was E & T yesterday, but we had a medical emergency here; and when that was over, I was plum wore out.  I had hoped to be peach wore out or possibly grape wore out, but that just didn't happen.

I hope it wasn't your medical emergency!

Sorry folks, it was a Nicky medical emergency.  When I got home from a semnar on Medicare yesterday afternoon he was haivin potty problems and then stated throwing up and crying. Doctor couldn't find anything wrong (which is good), but treated the symptoms.  He is doing much much better today.

Kindle edition?

No, I preordered the book on Amazon so it was delivered Tuesday when it was released.  I know my parents will want to read it, so I didn't do Nook, I got the real thing

I don't have anything I have to do after work this week.  It's great to be able to just come home and rest

Methinks that's a good thing. Vibes for continued improvement.

Well, I'm not good at just sitting, so there is an apple pie in the oven

And here is a photo from that little known Jerry Herman musical, the HELLO DOLLY! sequel, HORACE AND DOLLY; THE HONEYMOON.

Cute pic.

How are you today?

I'm fine.  How are you?

We are watching Game 1 of the World Series.  Baseball isn't really my game, but Richard's explaining it to me.

Well, I must be off!  I'm going to see Merrily We Roll Along!!  My friend Margo is not going, but that won't stop me...and I already bought my ticket on-line, so it's paid for.

Be back later with a report!! :D

Page three?  Really?  Far too many errant and truant dear readers for my taste.  Is this a vacation week?

Yes, Bruce, it is a vacation week from HHW.  It is a Catholic school holiday.  Why has Danise forsaken us again?

When the water levels drop at the lake near us my hiking group likes to go there.  It was extra nice for me as I didn't have to drive back and forth.  I walked down to the lake entrance near me where I was picked up and driven down to the next entrance.

Basically we were walking through the lake ;)
