I stopped at the office to water the plants and check the mail.  OMG there was huge pile of mail.  Nothing that is an emergency, but wow, it was a stack of stuff

No, you sit in the sauna until you are overheated, then you go and jump in the lake.

Now way, Ray.  I've watched people do that.  You wouldn't get me to do that  Besides the lakes are all VERY frozen

Oh, then the lake would be perfect for turkey bowling

Let's see - I made the tuna pasta salad - a double portion, which I've never done before and probably will never do again - all ingredients doubled, but the thing I put it into isn't doubled and it's VERY difficult mixing it all up in there with two pounds of noodles instead of one.  I think I finally got it pretty mixed.  And now begins the slicing and dicing, which will probably take two hours.

I love the score of Home Alone 2.  We played selections from it in our last concert

I can't believe all this continuing argument over DUCK DYNASTY.  Can't we just go back to arguing about THE SOUND OF MUSIC?

Well I am completely satisfied with the winner of THE SING OFF - although my favorite group was sent packing last week.  I like NOT having votes from the home viewers.....the judges are really good, so they know what they are talking about.

My favorite parts of the show were the 98 Degrees reunion and Jewel singing with Nick Lachey.....oh and Pat Benetar.

I'm home and watching it now.  Now that I think about it, I actually like not having the home votes, too.  It makes it an actual talent contest and not just a popularity contest.

I didn't find the Mr. Clean White Erasers at Costco.  I asked one of the red vests (they can look things up and let you know if a product is at another Costco), but the woman I asked said that they "don't carry them anymore, they've been deleted."  So Margo is S.O.L.  She was fine with that.

I actually went over to her place to give her a couple of DVDs (four episodes of GLEE and THE SOUND OF MUSIC) and we decided to go out to dinner.  We went to The Outback.  I had their Aged Cheddar and Bacon Burger (it's still very good).  We shared the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under. It looked good, but wasn't.  The whipped cream (topping?) was weird and kind of tasteless.  The brownie itself was just not special enough.  The ice cream was not bad.  Overall, the burger was good but I won't have that dessert again. :P

I will say that what we got had a lot more of the whipped cream/topping and chocolate sauce that shows in the link, so that was a plus, but still, not worth it.

Well, I need to leave work and brave the parking lot and aisles of Costco.  I was just going to get some diet Pepsi, but my friend Margo called and asked if I could look for some Mr. Clean White Erasers.  I said sure.  I have a couple of DVDs that I need to get to her anyway, so I won't have to make a separate trip for that.

One of the DVDs is "The Sound of Music," which today I FINALLY mailed to John, Ginny and Vixmom...sorry about the delay.  Let me know when/if you get them!

Why would you brave Costco just for those two products?  Don't you have other supermarkets in your town?

Yes, but their diet Pepsi prices are pretty good...and I like the 36-can case.  And it's right next to Fred Meyer and very close to where I live and work, so I might as well go to Costco.

George, you are much more organized than me. I doubt I'd have the time to get to a post office for another couple of weeks.

It's two blocks from where I live...and about a half mile from where I work.  It's all very close and easy. :)
