Saturday night we will be attending a showing of the British Arrow Awards - a one-hour compilation of the best of the British television advertising award winners. I am anticipating laughing a lot. The British are so droll.
It's being held at the Walker Art Museum downtown. Complimentary tickets, courtesy of my sister-in-law!

Our PBS station, KCTS, shows on their website that they are showing AMERICAN MASTERS at 10:00 p.m., but the Direct TV schedule says they are showing GIANT starting at ten o'clock.  That seems a dumb time for a three hour movie, so I'll bet it will be the Marvin Hamlisch special.

Darn...I forgot to check when I got home.

That's cool, too.  I couldn't do that in my place, though.  My water heater is under my stairs.

Tomorrow, I'm ushering for a local play, written and put on by a local theater group, Harlequin Productions.  It's one in a continuing series set in the fictional Stardust Club in New York City.  They've always been set in the 1940s, but for the first time, they're jumping to the 1950s.  The show that they did two years ago was supposed to be their last one, but evidently they decided to continue it.  I've heard that this year's is better than they've been in quite a while.
