Does anyone recall Kaye Ballard doing a medley of Oscar-winning songs and at one point breaking into a chorus of SHAFT?

It was something like that, and I can't find a video on YouTube.

I was catching up on epsidoes of JULIA last night...just love that show, although some episodes are a bit forced...and the actors tend to scream their lines in the earlier episodes...but tons of wonderful guest stars appear, and Diannah Carroll is truly one of the most beautiful women ever!

TOD: I abandoned the idea of having a wild and crazy time on New Year's Eve a long time ago. There is just something about enforced jollity that is begging for failure. The Lovely Wife and I have had a long tradition of just snuggling in at home with a bottle of bubbly. And several movies on DVD that we want to see. This year we shall not vary the tradition.
