I believe I am having a vicarious snow day.  I have cranked up the heat, turned on the fireplace, and brewed a fresh cup of coffee with French Vanilla creamer.  The only thing missing is the actual snow.

Haha!  And lovely aromatic firewood.  Definitely a vicarious snow day.  TCB knows how to push buttons.

Stage 1 completed:  snowblowing around the garage and clearing the whole turnaround area.  I'm inside for a half-hour warmup (and wooley cap and gloves drying session), then I'll tackle the length of the driveway.

Vixdad just finished clearing the drive unfortunately in a momentary lapse he let hos bare palm rest on the  hot muffler of the snow blower  he has a nasty burn

Yes, but it's not a big chore.  At least not till we have a REAL blizzard with deep snowfall.  When I run the snowblower I cut a path over to it so we can get over there to blow or brush it off and make sure the snow line is below the vent slots.

DR CHAS SMITH I cannot understand people who say DESK SET is not top drawer Tracy/Hepburn....they are at the top of their game here....and the supporting cast is top notch as well.

If you read the original play (Shirley Booth starred on Broadway) - you can see how perfectly it was tailored to the two stars.....

The studio dates are set, the studio booked, the producer expecting the cast to show up prepared on the Feb. dates, and no problems with conflicts on those dates from anyone.

Until today.

Well, my astrological chart for today must be completely screwed. A delivery just arrived, with third of it missing.

Yes, I forgot to log out when we left for the eye doctor's office.  While waiting there, we decided we'd go out to lunch and to the grocery in preparation for the next snowstorm.  Just got home.

It's just a broken blood vessel in my eye, which is made worse by the blood thinners that I take.  Nothing to do but let it clear up.

Friday morning greetings!  Sunny and cold here in SW Ohio.  I'd planned to stay in all day, but woke up with a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my left eye.  My eye doctor wants to take a look, so we'll venture up there in a couple of hours.  I wonder if it has anything to do with the shot of Novocaine that I had below that eye yesterday...

I would say that is an affirmative.

Eye doctor says NO, but it seems pretty coincidental to me...

By the way, DR TCB, if you'd like some actual snow for your snow day, you can have all of ours
