From the notes:  "I ordered a side of kishka and was extremely dismayed to see they don’t have the kind they used to – what they used to have was the best kishka anywhere, but this new kishka was not a patch on the butt cheeks of the old kishka."

Oh no.  Not again. 

What is wrong with the people who run long-time successful establishments, that suddenly they feel CHANGE is warranted?  I ask you.

Good morning, all!  I slept in and I am now out of bed, hoping to finish the taxes today.  I had a couple of very strange dreams, one of which reunited me with the cabaret act I was in-between 1980 and 1982.

Today is also the 155th birthday of the great Victor Herbert: operetta, opera, revue, musical comedy, music hall, concert platform, salon; he wrote for them all.
