After the post office I finished up some things at the office got to the bank with 5 minutes to spare, then stopped at a Japanese take out place. I was the only one in there and they were playing the nicest classical music.  I was already past my frenzy, but really unwound the rest of the way while waiting for my food

The funny moment of the day was a young man who said he had been worried about his immigration status....he said he was saying a prayer and looked up to see me on the TV.  He took it as a sign and called for a consultation, lol.

Oy! I just got an unwanted email with a blast from the past!

Hmm, anyone I know?

Not unless you work for a foundation that shut down Toyland and dropped me and my team in 2011

I suppose they want something from you.

That would be my guess or a donation..

Why would they ask someone they've sacked for a donation?

They do want something. I think I need to be drunk before I make the call.

NDSU asked me for a donation.. Pretty low I thought but then again, nothing surprises me

Universities are like that.

And the older alums get, the more aggressive they get.  Any day now I expect Michigan o start asking me to remember the university in my will.

A rather uncomfortable looking publicity shot from MR. BOND.

That photo is hilarious! And so 80s.

In other news, Ted Cruz is still an idiot and I don't understand how he can live with himself. Why does he not try to actually do something productive instead come up with things that have only one purpose, and that is to make him even more popular with the Tea Party.

Cool!  What region?

I won't say anything more until they announce it.

Larry - The Lyric Stage in Texas announced it on its season

Fiddler on the Roof, Sept. 5-14, 2014
The Golden Apple, Oct. 24-Nov. 2, 2014
Annie Get Your Gun in Concert, Jan. 22-25, 2015
Lady in the Dark, April 24-May 3 2015
South Pacific, Jan. 12-21, 2015

OK, so I went to their Facebook page. The announcement of this musical scared me. Then I saw that they misspelled Sally Mayes' name and that didn't help matters much.

So we did go to the theatre - when we arrived at  6:30 ther ewas no one else inthe theatre - I speread my coat over the two seats we wanted (center center)  and went back out to the Nathan's counter wher the Vixter was waiting for our dinner .  When we got back in there was a young couple sitting  a couple of rows in front of  us  and just before the film started another couple snuck in -  so it was a respectful audience  just the six of us   :)

Sooo, do you plan to get drunk or stay sober ;)

I have to make the call, much as i do not wish to. I'd rather be drunk when i do.

Sorry.  I hope the call goes better than you expect it to.

It won't.  I don't like the man.

can't you pretend?

Just back from a concert by the American Spiritual Ensemble. 20 singers, most of them international opera types. And when they all open up, it is quite a sound!! Two and a half hours of sublime music. Among their number was the Tony-nominated actor who played Crown in the recent Broadway revival of Porgy & Bess.
