Where are the writers?  Too much bad ad-libbing.

Why did Jared not get played off?

I was wondering that myself.

The big statuettes on the stage look like empty shampoo bottles.

I think so too.  Chuck Workman used to do these great montages for the Oscars,  I guess he doesn't anymore.  He may still do some interstitials for Turner Classic Movies.

I must have heard it during DM2 but didn't rediscover HAPPY until last week when I was totally stressed out.  When it finished playing I was dancing around my office.  I love it

Not a great song, but nice dancing for once, especially the little girl.

Ellen makes me laugh, so I don't mind her too much - she needed some help from a Bruce Vilanch.

Jared went on way too long - it's not a forum for anything but thanking and getting off.  But they can't stop and he should have been played off after thanking his mom.

You know what's shameless - when you can clearly see an audience not applauding but you still "hear" applause - same goes for laughs.  Who do they think they're kidding?
