Why the fat hell is the US post office delivering UPS packages? I'll never get my damned shipment. And why the idiot postal person is unable to leave a package with the super is another question I'd like answered.

Thanks DR Vixmom. I still have some excellent challah I picked up at my favorite bakery in Portland when we went for Thanksgiving. It was the first time I was there on a Friday and never even knew they baked challah. In Los Angeles you can buy it any day of the week. I'm guessing it is the same in NY.

Because it most places the packages get delivered in the mail box. I guess they save money that way. I had thought they did it here because of the rural deliveries, guess it is everywhere.

So, the UPS package I expected today was brought by the same ass who last week did not ring my bell and i have to go to the goddam post office tomorrow to pick it up. I get to take with me te unmangled half of one of my magazines, since the postal carrier destroyed it trying to jam too much into my post box. What the goddam post office needs is an internal affairs dept to check into some of the atrocities committed by works and managers. This crap I'm going through will continue until my regular carrier returns.

I stopped Netflix because the films I was most interest in RKO and MGM movies from the30's & 40"s were not available for streaming and I didn't want to wait for the films to arrive in the mail.

Watched the sweetest, funniest little British comedy with Jessie Matthews and Michael Redgrave called Climbing High. Had never heard of it. It's from the late 1930s, and Carol Reed directed.

Some innocent and wonderfully funny slapstick.

Back from Jason Graae's new show, about which more later. I'm not sure when Time Warner fixed itself but all seems to be well now, so fingers crossed and knock wood. They were supposed to call when the service came back on - but I think they don't do that on purpose so you don't really know how many hours they were down - certainly six I know of for sure. Shame on them.

Anyway, I start rehearsals for LITTLE WOMEN on Wednesday. It is a paid gig for a local youth theatre school. I guess they couldn't find any students who wanted to play an old man. It should be fun. I think I have something to give to the students. We shall see.
