And speaking of US Postal problems, remember those two missing Netflix discs? Netflix sent another set, and today the original ones showed up as well! I have two copies of each!

Well, that's some good news, at least. ;)

Am eating a a tuna salad sandwich with lettuce/tomato/mayonnaise on toasted sourdough bread.  And have a small bag of Lay's Classic Potato Chips.

Jesus! the Warner Brothers Shop says they can't help me with this shipment, which appears to be in limbo. They advise me to check with my post office. Here's what I know:

The UPS tracking site tells me: 03/07/2014    8:35 P.M.   Package transferred to local post office

The US Post Office tracking site tells me: March 7, 2014 Electronic Shipping Info Received

And there is where it ends; where the fat hell is this shipment?

Sounds good, indeed.

Especially the sourdough which is so wonderful there.

What an odd little day, but not an unpleasant one.  Grant came and hung the new cover painting - we moved some stuff around, and he'll be back on Friday to complete a couple of other things.

I approved the galley and dust jacket and paperback covers and the book is off to the printer for my test copies - should have them in a week or so and then I'll order the books and those will be here a week after that, so very ahead of schedule.  We'll put the book up for pre-order tonight.

DR Jennifer, 10 minutes after I began reading a new book, and 12 minutes after checking that my library didn't have anything available that I wanted to read, I received a notice that FEAR NOTHING was available to check out.  Within those 12 minutes 3 people had apparently returned their copies.

I'm guessing it will be a few days before I can begin reading it.

Then I went to visit with Robert A. Harris and some nice folks over at Foto-Kem - I am sworn to secrecy but all I'll tell you, and only you, is that what I saw was jaw-dropping :)

Then I picked up some packages, then had a cup of soup and a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich.  I'm now home for the duration.  Grant is making the signed limited slip that will go in the book, and he and James Mulligan will sign next week, as will I.

And I think the signing will now be mid-April rather than late April.

Back from a little meeting about one of our AAUW philanthropies.  It's fun to give money away!

I don't suppose you give money to 501(c)(3) registered non-profit theater groups in Washington state, do you?? ::)

Nope, DR George, sorry.  This batch is for 6th or 7th grade girls who want to attend science camp at Denison University this summer.

I'm an actor...I could pretend to be a 6th or 7th grade girl. :D
