Chas - Sorry for what you went through.

But since you're feeling better, maybe you've stumbled on a great title for something, a song, a poem, maybe:

THE SLIGHTEST HINT OF TENDERNESS

Elmore - i think that dream means you want to do those things all over again, assuming they were pleasant memories..

I sincerely doubt it.

Do you know what I really hate? It's Facebook's messaging system. I may be there to post something or read updates, but it doesn't necessarily mean I want to have a conversation at the same time. If you want to talk to me, pick up the damned phone.

And now, I'm going to bed.  I have been away from home since about 3:30 and I need to sleep.  Today, I get to sleep in!

I hope you slept in.  I would be lucky to sleep until 8:00.

Congrats on a fun and successful Toga night.

You don't have to respond.  I often don't even notice the messages as I am not at the computer, or kindly say you need to leave ;)

At the Toga Party Fund Raiser, we had four different local bands for the entertainment.  One of the groups was called Argentina Weeps.  They were good...they sang rock & roll versions of show tunes!!  I guess they usually have two vocalists, but this time they only had one singer.  They sang songs from "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "The Muppets" (the movie with Amy Adams and Jason Siegel), "Evita" (of course), "West Side Story," "The Rocky Horror Show" and several others.  For me, they were the highlight of the night!

But what if they had been followed by The Manhattan Transfer?

Emily Skinner has reported that actor James Rebhorn has died. I met him a couple of times and he was always a kind, softspoken man.  I last saw him live onstage, as I recall, in that terrific Lincoln Center revival of DINNER AT EIGHT, but i saw him a lot on the TV.

Noon on the Left Coast and only half way thru Page Two!

This does not bode well for the day.

Trying to decide if I want to eat something before the show tonight - otherwise, I'm waiting until seven-thirty and that's probably not a good thing.

I don't know why, but I have absolutely no desire to see Russell Crowe is NOAH!  I think I would rather see Val Kilmer is MOSES.  Of course that has now become Christian Bale is MOSES!

The gimmick of selling seats only in pairs is a little much.

Lots of opportunity for jokes about the arc of the screenplay

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Back from my last trip to Lima until Maundy Thursday (April 17).  Fr. Richard will be there next on Palm Sunday (April 13), but I'll be at the AAUW state convention in Springfield that weekend.  It's much colder 100 miles north of home and they still have snow mountains in the mall parking lot.

Here's an obituary:
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/james-rebhorn-dead-homeland-white-690464

That is super sad. I know him from Homeland. But the first time I saw him was many years ago. He played the creepiest character ever on Guiding Light. He was rapist Bradley Raines. I've never forgotten that character.
