Thursday morning greetings from CVG (Cincinnati airport)!  In about 90 minutes we'll be winging our way to Philadelphia for nephew Christopher & Kyra's wedding.  We'll meet her for the first time at dinner tonight.

I have great news for the bitch: nothing!

That is great news. I wouldn't put it past her, though, to try to trump up some evidence otherwise.     ???

She's looking into payments on the Ohio property, which may be in jeopardy with this company's folding, and it's a major concern of mine. I'm worried that it may be tied up in the business venture as collateral since all decisions on it are run by the two-thirds majority with no concern for my input. If the Macbeths hadn't been so greedy in 2007 and so opposed to anything I suggested, we might have sold it by now.

Even though Lady M was keeping a tight grip on the company's books while the official company office was Chez Macbeth before 2012, she knew full well that I was paying my third of the Ohio property taxes myself and that the company wasn't paying them for me. It does make me wonder about what personal items the company was covering for them.

Sounds like Ginny is going to have a fun weekend. Hope the trip to Philly goes smoothly. Haven't been in a few years but Philly is a fun place. I've enjoyed my visits there.

Thanks to DRs ChasSmith, Elmore, and Ben for the travel vibes!  We are looking forward to the weekend.  Richard's brother and his wife (groom's parents) are including us in so many of the festivities in addition to Saturday's wedding - dinner tonight, rehearsal dinner tomorrow, and Sunday brunch at bride's parents' home.  We are now the Palmer family elders, after all  8)

Good Morning All:

TOD:

I loved EASTER as a child and young girl because I received all new clothes.
I love EASTER now because Our LORD HAS RISEN!

I loved CHRISTMAS because of all the Gifts!
Now I love CHRISTMAS Because of our SAVIOR BEING BORN!

I must go E&T for a while and get some stuff done.

Tonight I'm attending a birthday dinner with friends out in the wilds of Woodbury, Connecticut, so I'll be back late.  Please have about fifty pages of postings for me to relax over when I get back, thanks in advance.

I found out that a channel calle SportsnetOne that I rarely watch has Figure Skating coverage from ten thirty pm all night till eight am. They do not break it down but I think they must be showing every skater from the two events shown that day.

I sure do wish it would be payday.

It is for me. And I had forgotten that. Very nice surprise this morning. Sadly, most of it is already claimed. Escrow shortage, mortgage, life insurance, you name it. Not a great payday for playing with.

I may have to go back to that later today. C. Jackson's version of "Joey, Joey, Joey" may be the best I've ever heard.

Thanks, DRs Jennifer and John G.  We are sitting on the plane in Cincinnati waiting for maintenance to close the door.  We're more than half an hour late already...

From DR Ginny:
Quote
I got $6.09 from Amazon and Richard got $12.18.  Guess that means he bought twice as many eBooks as I did!

Or twice as many best sellers than you did.

I was reading reviews of a book the other day and there were multiple one stars vs 4 & 5 star ratings.  When I glanced at the 1 star ratings the people hadn't actually read the book because the price was so outrageous.  I didn't think it was nice to give it any stars if they hadn't read the book though it must have worked.  The price of the book has been drastically reduced.

DR Jennifer thanks for the explanation on the suit.  I only knew it had something to do with NY Times best sellers.

Morning, everybody! Sorry for the recent errancy & truant-ness. Been a wee bit busy lately.

TOD: Always looked forward to Passover as a child, a bit less as an adult. No real problems with any holidays.

Passover was my favorite holiday of the year, and we celebrated Christmas.  Now I just try to ignore the fact Keith isn't interested and neither are our children.  If I think about it I get sad.

More vibes for Elmore and family. Are the Macbeths doing what they're doing because a sale would mean they would have no control over anyone anymore?

Good suggestion regarding the need to control.
