I love the Johnny Rocket's in Hoboken.

The other one I've been to, in Atlantic City, was a little less exciting, IIRC.

Johnny Rockets didn't make it here. There was one on the River Walk, but it didn't attract enough business, and one bite of the burgers could tell you why. There is one left in town, but it's part of an amusement park.

Good morning. We had family visiting and were very busy there for a while.

We missed you.

Good Morning ALL:

Well DR"S, it was one year ago today, on March 30, 2013 at 6:14 PM that I joined this great group of people.

I want to say that I have enjoyed being a part of this unique Forum.

TOD:

BK, I and the hubby watched THE BOOK THIEF last night.

My question to you is:  Did you guess who the NARRATOR was?

I actually did!

It was a very good Movie!

Well it snowed again yesterday.

Right now my ambitious hubby is snowblowing our driveway.

Let's hope we will be SNOW-FREE in April!

On Friday, my nephew Patrick had his GRAND OPENING of his new FITNESS CENTER, called HYBRID!

It was a smashing success with a tremendous turn out!

May God bless him and I wish him well!

Guess which game show premiered on television 50 years ago today?

What is 'Jeopardy,' Alex?         :)

No word from Joshie, so I guess I am not seeing TRANSPORT this afternoon. I love my adopted son dearly, but I just wish he'd have let me get a ticket on Friday, and it would be done. I hate sitting around waiting for a yea or nay.

The problem with people saying "let me get back to you" is that, no matter how well-intentioned they may be, they rarely do.     ???

I'm up - once again the thoughtless neighbors were out there at nine with whoever's baby it is - Cole seems to be the name of it.  And again, they were out there just long enough to wake me up and keep me up for ten minutes, after which, as always, they disappear never to be heard from again.

The COLE PORTER - that's the name of the carriage in which Cole is carried

A Little Cole Porter shtick (very little)

I enjoy a little chat
Though the chat may be old hat
But the brat's right by your flat so oy and vey
And I'm always waking you, neighbors, in my fashion
Yes I'm always waking you, neighbors, in my way

Just one more on the way to page 3:

I love chatter in the evening
I love chatter late at night
I love chatter that's at lunch time when it's sunny
I love chatter over dinner when it's funny

I love chatter in the morning
Every morning of the year
I love chatter, I tell you, Cole, that I love chatter
But please don't chat right here

Short ribs are braising right now. Cauliflower is roasted. In a few hours, I head off to a tagine party that a friend who owns an olive orchard is throwing. She has a collection of tagines and wanted to have some fun putting them to good use. I didn't realize you do a lot of the work ahead of time and assemble. And you can use a Dutch oven, too.
