Keith is such a riot. Friends have asked what we like to eat and drink when we stay with them. He has sent back a ridiculous list of specialty drinks and menu. I walked in while he was wrapping up the note with "Please feel free to include hazelnuts and brazil nuts in any food you serve since Jane is highly allergic to them. Always fun to watch her swell-up and gag!"

I started cooking dinner for my guests. I thought I would surprise them with a Brazilian meal since one of them is from there. I have attempted to make coconut and salmon soup and Brazilian Curry Chicken. And a traditional desert which I bought. (Flan) The main dish is in the crock pot and the soup has been started and will be completed when it becomes closer to dinner time.

A beige type t-shirt that had Fosse's Dancing logo on it. But don't think you can see the logo.

Saturday afternoon greetings! A little after 10 this morning Richard dropped me off at the local Miami campus to attend the first half of the Let Imagination Bloom luncheon and fundraiser for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. He went to pick up our mail, cleaned up, and picked me up at noon. We gathered with extended family at Spring Grove Cemetery for the internment of Uncle George AND his son-in-law's brother who had died earlier in the year. Fr. Richard offered to assist the officiant and was able to read the committal liturgy for his uncle. We then had lunch with Rob and Mary Linda and I've now crashed at home.

went to church at 8:30 AM and organized the putting together of kits to hand out to NYC homeless tomorrow

The washup kits had soap, washcloth, toothbrushes, toothpaste , shampoo , conditioner, a comb and a pair of socks.

The food kit had a sandwich, a bag of chips or pretzels, a hard-boiled egg, salt and pepper,a clementine and some candy

we made about 250 of each kit and have about another 75 sandwiches to hand out

we were done about noon and then I set up the communion for the chapel and the main sanctuary. By then it was nearly 1 and I had a 2 pm surprise baby shower

I called AAA and fortunately they came right away --- instead of going right home I went directly to the auto store whee I was pleased to see a young member of tghe congregation behind the register - he is the manager there. I bought new battery and he gave me a 20% discount (she was my preschool teacher and still knows my name! He explained to the coworker when he raised his eyebrows at my getting the employee discount) installed my battery while I hastily wrapped the shower present in the back of the car. I was home by 1:40 , changed and got to the shower exacatly on time at 2 PM
