DR George - a Mexican restaurant is one of the easiest places to eat vegan - the rice and beans abound (a complete protein), and you can always ask to have the cheese left off or on the side.

I'm sure you're right, but I think that they just don't want to go out...which is fine.  We'll have a good time at their house with the apple fritter bread pudding. :D

I thought last night's MAD MEN was particularly badly written, especially the parts in the "commune."  I just kept thinking, why are we wasting time on this dumb story when there are things happening back at the office.....  :P

I recorded it, but haven't watched it yet.  Sounds interesting...or not.

Almost all of the beans in SA are made with lard.

Gosh!!!   Who knew?  That never even occurred to me.       :P

Just met with my surgeon for a consultation on an upcoming minor but necessary procedure.

He looks like...       ...George Clooney.

Only younger.

I fell back asleep and got up at ten-thirty, so I think I got six or seven hours of sleep overall.  Had a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich and fries for the meal o' the day.

Since it will be our first time straight through the show, I have no doubt that at the very least it will be interesting.
