Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Hi, everyone! I am a bit sore, as they had to make an incision in my abdomen to repair a hernia, but I am home and resting (somewhat) comfortably. Have a lot of catching up to do here, which I will do slowly as the pain permits.

I'm glad it went well. Speedy recovery vibes!!!

I turn 66 in a few months and have decided I will definitely start drawing social security at that time.  While working.  While drawing my military pension.

Why not.  I'm sure you crunched the numbers and made an informed decision.

Back from Costco.  Still queasy, but not nearly as bad as yesterday.  Hoping by the end of rehearsal I'll be okay enough to have something to eat.

We got our grocery shopping done and didn't get rained on!  In for the rest of the evening, which is good because our county is under a tornado watch 'til 9pm.

I am off to rehearsal to block one of my favorite of ALL scenes.....all the gamblers at the floating crap game in the sewer......

We shall now play with my dice.....

Those dice don't have no spots....

That is all right.  I remember where the spots formerly were.....

Keith called me outside to see the White-throated Swifts. We sat and watched the dance of the birds that was going on.  Aside from the 4 Swifts there was a pair of red-headed Acorn Woodpeckers, a Western Scrub Jay, and a Red-tailed Hawk.

Heaven :)

When the red-tailed hawk visits our yard, all the other birds, along with the squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits, make themselves scarce.
