TOD:

jejune.

I love hearing it used correctly, and I love using it when it's appropriate.

I love that scene in Woody Allen's "Love and Death" where they come up with jejunosity of it all.

I'm up.  Seven hours of sleep - I don't know what's with me and sleep but I couldn't fall asleep until about four.

DR JOHN G - the Dream-O-Matic 6000 has this to say about your dream:

Ms. Danner - younger than she is now - in a kayak tells us that you are apprehensive about a certain part of your life. That she was presumed lost and later found, indicates that you are avoiding certain emotional aspects that seem to demand your attention. You do not wish to rock the boat or sail into stormy seas....so waiting is the key to success.

Leaving one vessel for another tells us that you are facing a change in your life, one that may be celebrated by some and disapproved of by others.

The Mississippi River passed "flood stage" in Saint Paul this past weekend, but it is not expected to crest until Thursday this week.      :P

I can see it if I walk a block from my house, but fortunately I am high up on a hill above it.

DR JRand, if the Dream-o-matic is not too pooped out, I have had recurring dreams about moving. Usually I am living with my sister, but am having to move out...and I am quite aprehensive about doing so. Then, it turns out I already have been paying rent on a perfectly nice apartment somewhere else, and everything turns out fine.

Other times it is that I am living with my sister (or sometimes with my dad and stepmom) and find I will have to move, along with my younger brother, to my mother's tiny cottage or trailer. I am worried about how we will all get along in such a tiny space. Then, like the above dream, it turns out I have been paying rent on an apartment that I forgot about, so as it turns out i can move there.

Have been having these dreams for the last 6 months or more, with slight variations, such as having to move to Medford for a new job. But then it turns out there was/is no reason for me to move as I already have a job and place to live where I am.

Please tell me, am I crazy? Don't hold anything back.

In other news, I am eating ham chunks for lunch. No cheese, but instead there is kale salad, berries, and mushrooms.

No DR MBARNUM you are not crazy.

The Dream-O-Matic 6000 says:

These dreams indicate that you feel that you and your closest relatives are distancing yourselves from each other.  You are also exploring new aspects of your personality that sometimes manifest themselves in surprising ways.

They also indicate that you have a definite future mapped out for yourself if you can keep yourself on the road to your plans.

You have also probably experienced increased dream activity because of a number of past lives trying to come forward to help you solve problems or find answers in your current life.  Listen to them....you came back to correct these miss steps from the past.

I had mushrooms for lunch. No chunks.

I'm not sure chunks is a terribly appetizing word.

I sort of enjoyed Tarzan the other night. The book, music and lyrics are all inane and instantly forgettable, but the cast gave it more than it was worth. The lead actor was game; he swung high out over the audience to the expected oohs and ahs. And the choreography was a lot better than I saw in videos from Broadway.
