I am sorry but I ma very tired it was a long hard day and there was a moment when I was sure I would need to travel to California with a stick to  beat the stupid off of someone

Fortunately the day ended well if   much later than I would have liked

I love  me some sweet gherkins   Vlasic and Mt Olive  being my two brands of choice

My Hungarian  Papa made  the best bread and butter pickles ever  I  unfortunately  never thought to get the recipe

The Vixter is a dill pickle fan  and  has been since she was 18 months old and started stealing them off her Papa's lunch plate

I like a dill pickle with a hamburger   NOT ON the burger though... along side,   for a nibble here and there, just like the side of coleslaw

one of the best things about diners   when you order your burgers they bring a big dish  with  a bowl of coleslaw and a bowls of pickles

And I am home from therapy. Morgan has given me a new, particularly painful stretching exercise for my ankles. I think I will rake a nap and get to work.

My mother's sister Lois made a very sweet pickle, which was okay, but I prefer dill. My dad's mother in Appalachia pickled eggs, which terrified me, beans and corn, which I loved.

Pickled corn sounds really good.

So, when you accept a "friend" request on Facebook the default is you're FOLLOWING them???  No wonder I see all this crap on my newsfeed that makes me NEVER want to go to Facebook.  Now I'm going to systematically unfollow everyone but a handful of folks.  One guy who I recently accepted does nothing but post obnoxious stories (you know the kind - "You won't believe what happened next") from The Blaze - I just unfollowed him, but I'll also probably unfriend him, too.

Is this why I keep seeing conversations my friends have with other people or groups?

I thought the "follow" option made it possible to follow people you aren't friends with, it the person permits following.  I don't think I do.  I will have to double check that.

I didn't even know there was a "follow" option.

I looked at my "follow" settings and I have it set to friends only.  It seems to me if you "unfollow" someone you won't see anything they have to say.  I'm not sure why you wouldn't just unfriend them instead, unless you don't want to hurt their feelings.

But you don't want to unfriend any possible customers.

The website was unavailable for awhile.

I know!  It happened just as I was leaving work, so I didn't stick around to see how long it would take to come back.  Glad we're back. :)

J.K. Rowling's second Cormoran Strike detective novel, The Silkworm, has been published.

Don't know if the first printings will go crazy in price like the first one did, since now the cat is out of the bag as to who "Robert Galbraith" is.
I'm reading it on Kindle (well my Surface) it was only $8.99  I'm enjoying it

I put a hold on the e-book.  I'm #15 of 15...for 4 copies.  Hopefully, it won't take too long. ::)

I am not, nor have I ever been a fan of cottage cheese.  I just don't like the texture.  My sister used to make lasagna with cottage cheese and the rest of the recipe was good (I'd made it with ricotta and it was delish), but with cottage cheese, it's just wrong. :P

Topic of the Day:

I don't have any brand loyalty or preference, but I like bread and butter pickles, dill pickles and sweet pickles (those are actually the only kinds that I know the name of).  I also like pickle spears (whatever kind they supply) with burgers or sandwiches, but only a couple of restaurants in this area include those.
