There's a production of The Brain playing in Fair Oaks, CA - it opened on June 20 and plays an entire month there.  Found a photograph.

Elmore's comment on pickled eggs reminded me of pickled beets, which I love. Eggs, not so much. And I've never tried pickled pig's feet. But I remember a bar in Middletown, Ohio, that had both in jars on the counter. One was pickled eggs in beet juice and the other had pig's feet. I don't remember the name, but it was something like the Baltimore.

If I went into a bar with pickled eggs and pickled pig's feet, I'd be in the wrong bar!

In Middletown, you couldn't get too picky.

I think I've liked just about anything I've had that's pickled.  Beets, eggs, garlic...

I don't happen to find eggplant very appealing.  Or feet.  No sir, you can have the feet.

Well, tonight we're having sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese with some leftover fried chicken...

I'm impressed by that Planet X photo.  It looks like the production values are pretty high.

So, when you accept a "friend" request on Facebook the default is you're FOLLOWING them???  No wonder I see all this crap on my newsfeed that makes me NEVER want to go to Facebook.  Now I'm going to systematically unfollow everyone but a handful of folks.  One guy who I recently accepted does nothing but post obnoxious stories (you know the kind - "You won't believe what happened next") from The Blaze - I just unfollowed him, but I'll also probably unfriend him, too.

Is this why I keep seeing conversations my friends have with other people or groups?

I thought the "follow" option made it possible to follow people you aren't friends with, it the person permits following.  I don't think I do.  I will have to double check that.

I am now off the take some STEEL MAGNOLIAS publicity photos so that we can meet the deadlines of the weekly print papers.

I will also finish taking the portraits so that I can get the lobby slide show done....and I will probably also do the lobby display case while I'm at it.

Hey, Jack, how are the plans going to revive Walking Happy? Ben and I have started a campaign.
