That doesn't look like Kristin in the 20th Century poster. It looks like Cameron Diaz.

I am home and in need of a tepid to cool bath; it's too humid and warm outside and I'm worn out from toting home some books and CDs.  I'll head back down on Tuesday, I hope, and cart home some more things.

I, on the other hand, am up.  I do believe I got over eight hours of blessed sleep.  Someone called at seven-fifteen - I don't want to look at the phone register because I think it's rather rude to do so - the fact is, I looked over at the phone and saw the name and would just wonder why on earth someone would call at that hour.

There was a Huffington Post story today on 9 common things that used to be taboo. One was that a person did not call after 9 p.m. In my world that is still taboo. And I would add calling before 8 a.m. (or later if you know the person's habits).

Is this person on the East Coast?  I have found people forget about the time difference.  Calls have come in early for Keith because they know he is up.  No one seems to care if I am-lol

I am now off to work in the box office for the opening night of Steel Magnolias.  I also work the window during intermission and help clean up afterwards.....and then I am done until next Wednesday.

Today a neighbor put a nice computer task chair out by the road with a FREE sign on it.....I brought it home and tried it out.  Seems to be fine - so I am also taking that to the theatre with me.  We can always use seating of all kinds around the place.

I am hoping the wigs look better tonight than they did in the paper yesterday.

The House of Wong was actually pretty good. A plentiful and varied menu. Excellent service.

I've been thinking about The Silkworm since I finished it.  I didn't like it as well the first one.  I think it could have ended  a lot sooner and been better, but I love the characters and am looking forward to the next installment.

I have a request for the e-book.  I'm number 12 out of 27 on the waiting list. :P

My eBook library still doesn't have the first book.

Can you recommend it for purchase?  When searching, our library has the option, "Additional Titles to Recommend," and items that OverDrive has but the library doesn't will show up in those search results.  Those titles have the option to "Recommend" that the library purchase this title.

I don't know if it's real (everything lines up a little too perfectly), but it's pretty darned funny!

I have so many I've recommended already I didn't even look.  Interesting, when I checked if my library had the book it showed they only had the audio version.  Just now when I did an advance search the book showed up with an option to put a hold on it.  I'm basically full on my holds so I only put it on my wish list.

At least my "additional titles" works now.  In the beginning nothing ever came up, even a book you told me was in the list of books.

I have one book, "The Target" by David Baldacci I requested that is now on my hold list.  I am first of  52 people in the queue.  The problem is the library still hasn't gotten the book in yet it was transferred to my holds taking up precious space.  It has been there at least a month-very odd.

LOL Apparently my library doesn't have "The Cuckoo's Calling" even though I was able to add it to my wish list.  When I attempt to put a hold on it I get:
