I'll tell you what happens next.

What happens next is me running out to Barnes and Noble to pick up Criterion's THE ESSENTIAL JACQUES DEMY.

Good morning, all! I slept late, and when I woke at 9:30, I was in some ridiculous dream with the Tchaikovsky/Disney song "Once Upon A Dream" running through my head.

My plans for the day are very few: laundry now, because the afternoon may be spent working on notes for the ROBERTA recording. The booklet situation is currently a mess; I cannot get into all of the sudden and unexpected printing issues of the past three weeks, but I know that New World Records would like to resolve the mess quickly.  As would I.

That's my day.

I have a sudden and voluminous proliferation of e-mail spammers, who seem to think that either I need to purchase a lot of prescription drugs from Canada, OR I need to enlarge a certain appendage.

I mean, really. Why do they keep doing this? Does anyone really fall for this stuff?

Tuesday morning greetings!  I just cleaned out a cupboard in the breakfast room for Mary Linda to use and accumulated an entire box of audiocassettes for next year's AAUW book sale.  She went back to work today after her 4-day moving weekend.  Rob came home from work while Richard and I were finishing breakfast and he's zonked out now.  He goes in again tonight at midnight and then is off until 8am Saturday.

I think by far the best sequel is "Aliens" which was sooooo much better than "Alien".

Druxy, I agree that "Godfather II" was just as good as "Godfather" and in fact "Godfather III" was also excellent.

In 1966, I spent a summer of shift work at Crystal Tissue. Jesus, how I detested every midnight shift. Rob has my sympathy.

DR Elmore, he worked 4 midnights in a row the week between Lauren's wedding and the move and said that was a bit much.  He and Mary Linda didn't see much of each other that week.

It was kind of weird to sit at the breakfast table drinking coffee (me), tea (Richard), and beer (Rob).

The recording of Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging! is out today.

There is a marvelous Idina Menzel valentine of That Ubiquitous Song entitled "Let It Blow."      :D

I must be at Toyland tomorrow, God knows for how long or at what time, simply because waffling from  the Man from Philadelphia over the McGlinnventory. If I am not there fr the packing crew, I may discover later that my possessions have gone to the Library of Congress. All because we are at his beck and call when he wishes. Frustration. Needless frustration.

TOD:

Superior sequels
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Godfather II (better than the original)
Star Trek IV - The Return Home
Star Trek II - Wrath of Khan
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Aliens
Terminator II: Judgment Day

Inferior sequels:
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Godfather III (sorry, but it's the least of the three movies)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
