I decided to apply for a district court judge opening. the job was just announced and apps aren't even due for a few weeks, but I decided to tell Edith so she could decide what she wanted to do. I assumed she'd wait to even look for something until we were farther along in the process. But the next day she came in and told me she had a new job and wanted to cut back her hours with me to part time. Wow. That was quick. She also has a couple other people who want to interview her including another lawyer. SO....changes are afoot. It will either be both of us moving on to new and exciting things, or Edith moving on and changes for me.
And now, I must be off. We're doing a reading of the latest version of a script (title to be announced later, when everything is finished) that will eventually be a musical that Theater Artists Olympia will put on. It's an adaptation of a public domain movie, so we don't have to pay anyone for the rights. It should be a lot of fun. Until later!
