I've heard no more noise from the lift, and that isn't positive.

Glad to hear DR Elmore's elevator is operational again.  Remember when we stayed in that 5th floor apartment in a one-elevator building?  The lift had been repaired but hadn't been inspected yet and could not be used.  Interesting few days...

I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of blessed sleep with one long and involved dream that would have made an interesting movie and one short dream that wouldn't have but was interesting nonetheless.

Friday morning greetings!  Yesterday, while making our bed, I bent and reached in a way that caused a back spasm.  Moving quite cautiously today...

Topic of the Day:

In my CD player here at work:  the brand news Kritzerland studio cast recording of And the World Goes Round!  And, the original London cast recording of From Here To Eternity...yes, I'm going to listen to it again. ::)

DR Elmore, am glad your elevator is once again working. In my apartment building we are fortunate to have two elevators, so if one goes wonky, we have a spare.

DVD: If my buddy Agustin comes over this weekend, I may make him watch the 1950s Mexican film SWAMP OF THE LOST MONSTERS so that he can translate it for me.  ;D

DVR: Premier episode of A TO Z, as it co-stars my buddy Parvesh Cheena. Also, tonight's Amazing Race will record for weekend viewing.

Happy to say my copy of AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND was in the mailbox today!  Now, when can I sit down and listen to it?  Tomorrow?  Sunday?  Yikes.  Well, soon!

I am nearing the end of the second disc of Roberta, and I can't seem to wipe this smile off my face. The whole thing has just made me giddy, Larry. The music soars, its sweeps, it swings.

Eileen was a revelation. Dearest Enemy was an old friend I only slightly knew from abridged recordings; and I was glad to make the relationship deeper. Roberta is joy, unalloyed joy.

That's very kind. The mixing sessions were tough, and I really didn't know that it would come together so well. After the May mixing sessions I was convinced it was never going to pull together, but my Grammy-winner producer really pulled it together in the June session. I owe her an email to thank her, and if this is the end of recording for the foundation, I'm happy we're going out with a bang.

That looks like a fun CD there DR GEORGE.

It was part of the movie's plot and added a whole level of emotion to the movie...it actually was integral to the story.

Am awaiting lunch.  A co-worker is getting some Mexican to bring back to the office. She is picking up a Tampico Salad with chicken for me.

Here's hoping that DR MBarnum's buddy Agustin remains his buddy after being pimped to translate "Swamp of the Lost Monsters".

My Friday evening will begin with a viewing of last night's "Pwoject Wunway".

I'm given to believe it will be awesomely rewarding.
