Greetings from Toyland! I had a 3-hour breakfast with DR KevinH and one of his visiting friends. It was quite delightful.

Then i walked to 34th and Seventh and caught a bus here. Traffic is once again screwed up in midtown, partly because of rain, partly because of a parade, I hear, and partly because our previous Mayor Bloomberg continued to screw up traffic after Giuliani, and it's a mess getting around.

I've finished my printing and i will shortly head home.

The From Here to Eternity broadcast that some DRs recently saw in the theater will be released to Blu-Ray in November.

I'm going to buy it. It's not so much that I loved the show (I really didn't), but I feel that I want to support (almost) ANY preservation of live theater that is made available for purchase. I liked it (on a certain level

) and really want more theatrical productions filmed and put on DVD/Blu-ray.

On Thursday I had an exercise echocardiogram. I'd had an exercise EKG, ie, a treadmill stress test, several years ago, but this one includes ultrasound images of the heart. I won't have the full results until late next week, but there were no problems during the test itself, which is certainly a good sign.

I'm (again) running the sound board and will have to help set up the sound board program. Someone else compiled all the sound files, but doesn't know the program very well. I used it for the last show, so I'm a little more familiar with it...but not by much.
