I had thought Craig was at the record breaking game last night.  Record breaking in that it was the longest game played in hours.  At 18 innings it only tied for the most innings.

Bryan is on his way home and will call before he goes to sleep for the day.  He has been working the night shift.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I slept until about 10 this morning and have been taking it pretty easy.  We're expecting a visit from DN Lauren and her husband in a little while.  I haven't seen them since their wedding almost 3 months ago.  They both have jobs that involve high school football, so this is a really busy time of year for them.

I'm up, I'm up.  Usual rough pre-show night of sleep and the kind of sleep where you think you're awake.  I probably got about six hours.  We'll see what the old voice is like in about an hour, after the jog.

As sometimes happens, there must have been a computer or router or modem glitch last night and the computer can't find Time Machine.  This means I have to shut the damn computer off, unplug the router and the modem, plug them back in, then start up the computer again.

DR SINGDAW is quite the gadabout this weekend.

Not only that, but I'm a man about town, looking for hats.

The probable good news is that I clicked on "back up now" and after fifteen minutes of saying "looking for back-up disc" it finally appeared and found it.  It's still preparing back-up and has been doing so for ten minutes, so hopefully it will complete.

Had a wonderful time watching the taping/broadcast of Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion." Lovely music and sketch comedy, and of course it is fun to watch the sound effects guy work his magic. People come from all around the country to be in that audience. Garrison does not use any notes for his "Lake Wobegone" monologue - it is all either extemporaneous or memorized. The audience in the theater sure had a good time! It will be interesting to listen to the archive to hear how the show came across over the radio, having been there to "see" it.

I saw them tape the show years ago when they were in Sioux City. It's really great fun

We had a nice visit with Lauren and Jim.  They've gone home and Rob and Mary Linda have gone upstairs to study organic chemistry and statistics, respectively.

I had a strange dream this morning about one of the teachers at my elementary school.  In my dream, she turned out to be Agnes Moorehead.  Strangely, it had never occurred to me before, that she really did look a lot like Miss Morrehead.

I do not comment on any dreams featuring anyone with the name Moorehead.

Paramedic Rob and Athletic Trainer Lauren have conferred and diagnosed my back pain as sciatica.

DR Ginny it is what I think I have, only the pain isn't shooting down my let this time so I fear there is more to it than just sciatica.  I hope not.
