I was up at eight-thirty, I did a three-mile jog, had some poached eggs, picked up a couple of packages and now I'm here until about five-fifteen, at which point I'll mosey on over to the theater for dinner and show.

Ok, so now I get it. The Wizard of Oz will play, the film score except the vocals has been removed and the entire score is played live by the Orchestra. How cool is that

Been a crazy day. Had to be out at a barbecue joint across town at 8:15 this morning in order to do a radio show on the book. It was fun and the poeple were all great, but it was way too early.

I was once the tin man in our law school musical the Wizard of Laws. I had a great costume. I kept it for a number of years but I have no idea what happened to it. Of course it would never fit me now, but it was a fun costume to wear

Finally had time to watch Act II of the Nance. Well acted. Overwritten. I didn't think the burlesque clips were overdone. In fact, given some of the sloppiness of the writing, I could have used more of them.

My washing machine is apparently 2 months out of warranty. It's now starting by itself. It doesn't fill with water but makes all the computer sounds and the lights start flashing. Goofy

Do you wear hiking boots? I haven't had any in years and just wear my running shoes. I am walking around the house in a new pair of hiking shoes, vs boots that went up my ankles. I'm deciding to keep them or not. I really need water proof/resistant shoes for the winter which these are.

I tend to prefer my eggs rather basic, boiled, egg salad, and deviled. I also like fresh scrambled eggs with only a little salt & pepper added. Occasionally I will add avocado & caramelized onion to my scrambled eggs. I'll eat an omelet but rarely enjoy it. They tend to be overcooked and often rather tasteless after having fresh eggs at home. I also cook my scrambled eggs in just a wee bit of olive oil, not butter.
