There's a local candidate with the last name of Pulliam, who uses only that in his ads, so I've been seeing your name a lot lately when I drive around town.

A nice review for And the World Goes Round from Rob Lester at Talkin' Broadway.  He's very nitpicky about Christiane and Kyra, both of whom I think do great work, and I'm vastly amused by him giving call out credit to the reed playing - because the person who's actually playing most of the reeds on 80% of the album is not the credited player (those who frequent this site know we had to replace most of the horns on the CD).  But a nice review is a nice review.

TOD:

There are a lot of probably very good Jeff Bridges movies I haven't seen, but favorite ones I do know to some extent are:

The Last Picture Show and Texasville
Tron and Tron Legacy
The Big Lebowski
True Grit (I like things about both True Grit films)

Some of Seth Rudetsky's early weekly columns for Playbill.com have been collected into a volume, hopefully the first of what will be a continuing series...

I think I've mentioned before that I went to college with Seth. Funny guy. And busy - very busy!

That would be cool!  Or maybe BK, you could repost them here in their own section. :)

Well, this is interesting...kind of:  ‘Bewitched’ Followup Series Lands At NBC With Pilot Production Commitment.

Quote
Coming on the 50th anniversary of Bewitched’s debut, the new version is a reimagining of the original series two generations later. It centers on Daphne — Samantha’s granddaughter and Tabitha’s daughter — a single twenty-something witch, who has always used her magical powers to conjure herself the perfect life.  But she soon realizes that the one thing she cannot conjure and control is the one thing she wants most – real love.

Hmm...at least they're not trying to reboot the original.

Bruce:  The last time I tried to revisit the columns/posts from before this forum format, I could not find them.   Are they gone, or don't I know what I'm doing?

From DR Singdaw:

I used to be Facebook friends with former DRs Karen and Cason, but it seems that they dropped me somewhere along the way...

I was friends with Cason and something was posted on his page, truth or not I don't know, and he shut down his FB.  I don't know if he has returned.  Did he recently get married?

Back from soup and a sandwich, picking up a package, and am now relaxing - the work session, despite it being simple, took two hours.

Not sure why Ron is having trouble seeing the columns before here - if you go to column archives and scroll all the way down - you should see each year and if you click on 2001 you'll find us from day one.

Oh, I see - I'm guessing that when we did the big move to our new host and they had to reconfigure everything when we got it all updated and on the new software that somehow the posts that used to be there at the end of the columns got nuked - not sure why that would have happened and just now noticed it.
