I've had a couple people call me to see if I'd hire them.  Neither had any secretarial experience, lol.

Oh.  I guess I won't call you then.

Oh you can call anytime

I love your quote, Cilla.

Thanks, it was on a t-shirt or something in an ad on FB.  I burst out laughing when I read it

Speaking of my mom....she was hungry for her Aunt Emma's chocolate cake today.  She looked and the recipe and didn't have everything so she improvised....apparently it didn't go so well,....

I hope the missing ingredient wasn't the chocolate.

She didn't have cocoa so she used Hershey syrup.  I told her they aren't the same thing.

Dad said, if you use enough ice cream, it tastes ok.  Not sure if he's being diplomatic or if he just doesn't want to cook

When I first talked to her she said "Well I mixed it up and put it in the over and it's cooking so it must be ok"  I said "Of course it's cooking, the oven is hot"  She cracks me up

When I called back to see how it came out she said "Oh my God! It flopped and it flopped big.  I think it was the worst thing I've ever had"   She says that about everything she doesn't like

It was the all-city read in Cincinnati a couple of years ago.
