Good morning, all!

I could not get to sleep last night, so I stayed up far too late reading Paul Ford's deliciously lowdown gossipy book on his life in the theatre. It's currently a sprawling draft, and I have no idea if it will ever be published, but it's one helluva good read. Knowing Paul, I know it's all true.  He told me the RAGS stories at the time of the original production. So, I stayed up far too late and got ut of bed later than I had intended.

I must run to the bank and get to work.  Joshie has changed my Paint Your Wagon deadline to Dec. 15 and I'm still in Act One!

The rental materials for She Loves Me are now, I believe, the puny Roundabout revival version with a small band, and it's all digitized. The handwritten piano-conductor score and parts of the original production are only rented now on special occasion, I believe.

That man can tell a story. That's for certain. And he never lets facts interfere with his opinions.

The super tells me that the new tenant did not tell anyone she had a dog, nor did she read the lease before signing.  It's barked all morning.

I need Aunt Pearl, the poodle poisoner from GREATER TUNA.

I've known him for 33-34 years and I believe every one of his stories. I do not always share his opinions but I have no doubt every story about idiocy in revisals with idiots is completely true.

This problem could be dealt with quickly and impressively with a three-story falling file cabinet.

Yes, but Aunt Pearl is a pro.

All the garage door opener needed was some adjustment, so we're good until it gives out all together.  The guy told Richard they can't get parts for ours anymore, because it's 20 years old.

We've had our traditional morning-after-Thanksgiving breakfast - turkey and bacon sandwiches and pie (apple for Richard, pumpkin for me).

Do you have a different email address from the one you normally got the Kickstarter updates at?  Did you get the other Kickstarter updates in April and September?

She sai" I can't believe it broke, I just bought it!"  I asked "when?" (being confused,"

My sister and her husband and their daughter are spending some time with Mom today.  Later, I may join the girls for some shopping and we'll probably all have dinner together.

ROBERTA now has 10 reviews on Amazon. Nine are good, one is poor, and a J.T. Waldmann in Indiana has posted negative comments after a review but not posted a review himself. I have no idea how it or the other four recordings are selling, though.

BK, are you sure that you couldn't fall asleep until 3:40 (instead of four) and perhaps you didn't really get up yeterday until 12:40?

I've decided not to do the dinner later - just too long a drive and I really don't like parties in general but especially ones where I only know one person.

Which means I'll go get food around noon o'clock.  It will be interesting to see how crowded Jerry's is today - they were jammed on Wednesday.  You'd hope that people ate so much and had so many leftovers that they would not go out to eat at all today, but I am never not surprised by the denizens of the City of Studio.
