From 4am 'til 6am today I could not sleep because my mind kept racing with MomAAUWChristmasMomAAUWChristmasMomAAUWChristmas over and over.

Now that we're home from church, lunch, and visiting Mom, I don't feel like dealing with any of it.

So, I've done a little AAUW work and a little Christmas prep and can't really take the next step on Mom until the social worker returns to work tomorrow, so maybe I can sleep tonight.

SO, I was watching Diners, Drive ins and Dives. It was all about Mexican food and the more I watched the hungrier I got, so I went to my favorite Mexican place and had a big lunch in the middle of the afternoon.

I got through two numbers today, so that makes me happy.

Now here's a question: does anyone find Wikipedia as maddening and difficult as I do? I can get no no answer my questions, i do not understand how to use their "Talk" to communicate, and i am mostly frustrated by the situation.

I was so happy to read that Bigsy and Paws, the cats I sponsored yesterday were adopted together. I was a bit concerned after I paid the sponsorship that the reduction in fees on each may lead to one of them being adopted without the other even though the shelter said they wanted them to be together. Whew! I am so happy

As for last night's "The HEAD! That Wouldn't Die!" performance...it was a sold out house! Of course, it's a small house, but sold out is sold out! And it was a really good performance. People have really been enjoying it.

We have two more weekends, and I also found out that if we sell really well for the rest of the run, they might consider extending it after the new year. A couple of people are leaving town right after our regularly scheduled performances, but they'll be back. We have nothing else scheduled in the space, so that's not a problem, at all.
