Thank you, DRs Jane and Jeanne. More than once today I said to Mom, "Everything's a trade-off." She will lose some autonomy, but will gain a lot of assistance. And she will have her friends nearby. We saw 2 of them today who were pleased to learn of her impending move.

Trying to get the house refinanced, and the paperwork is a pain. I wish I had delayed another month or so, but I'm likely to save 1.75% and get it paid off three years sooner.
