I have finished up here, so I can head home.  Last night, I remember that I had weird dreams, mostly about dead acquaintances and family: I remember my dad and Ron Raines were in several, and one of them was a mashup of Ohio, college theatre, and Manhattan. The one with Ro Raines had something to do with a late show at a movie theatre and something creep, but i forget what now.

So, to home.

Thursday morning greetings!  I have been to have my hearing tested and to see the PA at the ENT office about the buzzing in my right ear.  My hearing is close to perfect and the PA basically said, "Live with it."

Thanks Singdaw, George,  & Vixmom.

Vixmom, apparently the story was on the news in Canada this morning.  Maybe your in-laws saw it.  My friend's sister did while she was at the dentist and yelled out "That is my brother" ;D

Annoying is how the airline downplayed the part where they told him his puppy had been stolen before they finally figured out he had been left on the flight to continue to Calgary.

I'll trade you good hearing for the slight buzzing, wait I have that as well-lol

Fortunately, the buzzing is not constant.  Certain things trigger it, like a church organ, some voices, water running over my head in the shower.  The PA said sometimes grinding your teeth at night might aggravate it, so I think I'll go back to wearing the guard the dentist made for me several years ago.

I have some tinnitus, too.  Fortunately, I think (and of course fervently hope) that my hearing is still in good shape.  One of these days I'll take a hearing test.  Last time was a couple of decades ago, and it was great then.

But yeah, we have to get used to it.  Mine is only a distraction at certain quiet times.  When I'm really involved with some activity, and certainly with music or even watching something, I'm rarely aware of it.  Sometimes even the quiet times are truly quiet.  Not right now, though.  There's a nice whistling going on in my right ear right now!

DR Jane, I'm glad the Berner story has a happy ending.

Thanks.  Here is the most recent news story I've read.  This one acknowledges the fact my friends were told Levon was stolen.

I've seen only one of the Best Picture nominees - THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL - and that was on the plane to Paris in September.  We saw WILD on New Year's Eve, so we've seen Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern in their nominated roles.

Thanks for the link DR JANE.

I have yet to see THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING, but I am hesitating.....

I haven't seen SELMA either.

I am happy that both Patricia Arquette and Emma Sams were nominated for Best Supporting Actress.....that is a tough choice!!!

The supporting actor, best actor, and best supporting actor are also close calls.....whew!

There was a bit more stress this morning when Bill went missing.  He has been found safe and is waiting for Levon to arrive. ;D  I'm not sure yet but I think his new phone charger didn't work very well.

While we wait for the safe arrival of Levon, we are also waiting for the arrival of twins.  Our friend is having a C-section today.

The audio books were just too difficult - I hired three different people, none of whom were quite professional enough to just sit down and do it, so I just stopped caring.

Arizona Judge Sherry Stevens has denied ALL motions (including prosecutorial misconduct) to dismiss charges OR remove the Death Penalty from the table in the matter of Jodi Arias.

The Defense Team now has no doubt how she feels about them.

The 16 page ruling is here, if anyone is interested.
