For a change we went out last night. As we were leaving I went to put my wedding ring on and couldn't find it and had to leave without it. I could not understand how I lost my ring and was extremely upset. Just now I found it. It had fallen into an odd place and I initially missed seeing it. I am incredibly relieved. It took 40 years to get a proper wedding band and I could never have replaced it.

I'm seeing American Sniper today.....Whiplash disturbed me a lot.....The Theory of Everything and The Imitation Game were very good, but not as enjoyable to me as the three listed above.

Thanks BK and Thanks JRand. I know I'm not going to be able to see them all before the Oscars, so I'll probably see most of them when they come out on HBO or I can rent them at home. I'm trying to get a feeling for what people like the best. I missed The Theory of Everything when it was here. I do want to see The Imitation Game and I can't wait for Big Eyes to get here

I did figure out one of the main clues immediately, but I wasn't sure about the solution until the end so that was fun. I think there is a lot they can do with the characters and I'm curious to see how it develops

We had a little film festival in Sioux City that I used to be a part of. It was an afternoon one day and an evening the same day. It has now grown to the point that there are three days and each day is a different genre. I'm looking forward to it.

The festival is Feb 26, 27 and 28 they are showing 33 films this year. I'm not sure if they are all shorts or not. It was fun back when I was on the committee, but it will be fun to just go and not have to work

I hope it recorded. I will know tonight when I turn on the tv. We have a movie from Netflix to watch tonight, or the last two episodes of Death in Paradise so we can mail back a disc tomorrow.

I am disappointed Netflix only has the first two season of Death in Paradise. I hope it won't be too long before they get season 3. My brother said season 4 has returned but I don't see the point in skipping a season.
