Gary Owens has passed away. He wasn't a close friend or anything, but I knew him and he was a very sweet man and we always had fun and funny conversations. And, of course, he blurbed the three Kritzer books.

Sunday we have an AACB concert. I missed a couple rehearsals this time, but I practiced last night and will run through all the music, especially the trouble spots tonight and tomorrow and I should be good to go.

Tuesday morning I have to go to the dentist to start the process for a crown. Yuck. I have a cracked tooth that bothers me occasionally. It's the opposite to the one that broke on the right side. I haven't had any trouble on that side since my dentist put in the new crown. I can't wait to get the other side done

it is. I went to the dentist last fall and she said it was cracked and we scheduled the appointment. It doesn't hurt except when I bite down wrong on something.

Whereas some of us have been as good as locked out most of the day. Is it affecting people differently in different areas? This is the first time since I last posted (mid-afternoon? - I don't dare go look and take a chance on losing this page!) that I've been able to load a full page to read responses, let alone actually make one myself.

When this happens, it seems like there must be more to it than a server that's got too much on its plate. Like, something affecting connectivity or routing to and from the outside world. (Note how I spout these things like I know what the HELL I'm talking about.)
