It's suppose to get into the 40's tomorrow so we should get sort of a taste of what the northerners are getting.

There is also the movie The Ratings Game (I had a copy under the title The Mogul) which was Showtimes' first original made for cable movie.

This is film where BK is in drag and he also wrote all the faux theme songs for the tv series when tv series had opening theme songs and main titles. They are missed.

Not sure how to share the link to the movie but if you had watched any of the links from the notes I think it gives you links to the movie. If not click on Imagination Productions under the videos and look for it there

I am going to have a busy Sunday.

I am going to NSCAR party to watch the classic Daytona race.

And then The Oscars.

I'll probably tape it and join in later so I can bypass inane jokes and get to the meat of the program. The musical numbers, the film tributes, the in memorial listing. With so many people in the last year it is interesting who is going to be dropped due to time and of course the winners. This way I can get through it in about 1 hour.

Good morning, all! When the alarm rang, i was having a dream about casting So Long, 174th Street, God alone knows why.

Around 8:15or so, I will take a bus to Rockefeller Center, stop in the psot office and mail a package, then see my barber before heading up to City Center and Joshie. I will hopefully head home no later than 1:00.

That's my day.

It is currently -7 with a wind chill of -28. I don't miss walking the dog in such conditions. But I would happily do it if it meant having my dog back with me. Miss him dreadfully!

Sorry, DR singdaw!  Have you thought about another dog?

We watched BIRDMAN last night.

Terrific performances; wild direction.  But, neither my wife not I could really become emotionally involved with the characters.

Still, I liked it and would watch it again.

My favorite picture of the year, though it won't win the Oscar on Sunday, is still THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.

Good morning, all.

I was bizarrely bothered by post nasal drip yesterday evening and all night which, by 5:00 AM, had culminated in much clearing of throat and insane coughing.  Took some Robitussin and got it under control, then managed another hour or so of much needed sleep.  For now, it's just as well I'm up and about.

Coffee!

None of which, by the bye, kept me from having a crazy abstract musical dream having to do with getting two or three keyboard voices of some show music in balance.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Fr. Richard's trip to Lima for Ash Wednesday services was cancelled yesterday, for which I am very grateful.  We had snow early this morning and there's supposed to be even more this evening.  Fortunately, Mary Linda can telecommute and Rob made it home safely from his third shift.

They moved my Aunt Edith to ICU as I was visiting yesterday.  I went with my mother's baby brother who is very closed to Aunt Edith.

Eventually he said he couldn't go in to see her....he was too emotional....so I told my cousin Carol that we would be leaving and she said okay.....

I keep hoping that she may pull through......but until then we wait for more news.

Very funny videos.....I needed to laugh today.

We got two more inches of snow and it is 10 degrees with a feels like of -2 degrees.....

Even though I don't like the cold walks......I am happy to have Precious because I know so many people have lost pets in the last year or so......

And I am home from all various and sundry errands with several PAINT YOUR WAGON scores to look over for Joshie.  I'll try to finish them today for our meeting tomorrow at 11.

I'm starving.
