PAGE SEVEN MONSTER-UNDER-THE-BED DANCE!!

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Today, I saw a local production of a show for children called "The Monster Under the Bed" (hence the page seven dance), put on my Olympia Family Theater.

I knew all but two of the actors, so that was a lot of fun.  It was an absolutely delightful show.  It's about facing your fears head on and was very touching and sweet.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  The set was great, the costumes were wonderful and the acting was all very good.

Three of the cast members were in Theater Artists Olympia's production of BK and David Wechter's "The Brain That Wouldn't Die!"  The people who played Joyce, Donna and Rod were in this.

Tomorrow, I'm ushering for the silent movie, Show People, starring Marion Davies.  I love the Washington Center's silent movie series.  Dennis James has been playing the organ for these movies for several years now, and even though they aren't attended by large crowds, the people who come regularly love them, like I do.

I'll probably be late for the Oscar party, but I'll eventually get here.
