Mark and I saw "Inside Out" last night. It was charming and delightful, and also delightful and charming. Afterwards, we went to the Boneyard for dinner, which was yummilicous, albeit stupidly expensive for BBQ joint.

And I am back from our cancelled matinee!

Got my brownie points and gold stars for being the only musician to have managed to show up before they decided to pull the plug on it. The snow was accumulating much too quickly, and much more than had been forecast for the daylight hours, and audience members were starting to call in their cancellations. And it was the right thing to do. It would have been a freaking disaster if they'd let the next three hours of snow fall, with people needing to get out of there.

I walked, slipped and arrived with no injuries or falls at the corner bodega to find the place decimated. I was so frustrated I purchased nothing and left. I'd order out but I don't want to send anyone out in this weather.

Larry, I really believe if you're patient with how long a delivery order might take in this weather, the delivery people from a restaurant would love to have your order on what's probably a slow night for the place itself. I think in this type of weather, delivery is actually good business for them.
